ALLEN, James L. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Rockville - James L. Allen, 75, Rt 3, Rockville, died at 6:45 a.m. Friday in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton. Mr. Allen was a retired farmer and miner. He was born December 23, 1903, a son of William and Martha Rector Allen. Surviving are the wife, LaVerne; a brother, Raymond "Bud" Allen of Anderson; four sisters, Mrs. Gladys Mitchell; Mrs. Ruby Smith and Mrs. Anna Myers, all of Rockville and Mrs. Violet Kilburn of Anderson and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Barnes Mortuary at Rockville with burial in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday.
